TOOLS

Work The Numbers Out Yourself.

Small tools for anyone planning a film. All three are open. Each one gives you something to think with in under a minute, and none of them asks for anything before it does.

These are planning tools, not a price list. There is no rate card anywhere on this site, because a film is priced from what it has to do.

The calculator compares published shoot ranges with the published computing cost of generating a film, and shows the source of every figure it uses. Neither figure is the studio's price. A project is priced from the brief and confirmed in writing before anything starts.

    Every Market Calculator

Set a length, the number of languages and the formats a campaign needs, and see published Dubai shoot ranges set against the published computing and dubbing cost of generating the same film, in dirhams and in working days. The second figure is not the studio's price. Every figure shows where it came from.

    Brief to Shot Sheet

Paste the brief you already have and get back a directed shot sheet in the studio's format: what every shot has to do, how it is blocked, lensed and lit, the continuity rules it holds, and notes for every format and language version.

    Concept Frames

Describe a film in a sentence and see four still frames in the studio's look, in order: where we are, what happens, the detail that carries the finish, and the frame it ends on. Held for a day, then deleted.

No launch dates are given here on purpose. A tool is marked Live on the day it works, and not a day before.

Rather just talk it through?

A tool gives you a range. A conversation gives you a price. Send the project over and Stephan replies within 24 hours.
