How To Choose An AI Video Production Company In Dubai (2026)

DubaiAI VideoWorking With Us

This guide is written by VSNRY Motion, an AI film studio at the DIFC Innovation Hub in Dubai. We make AI commercials, music videos and brand films, so we are one of the companies you may be weighing up. That is why the checklist below names no other company and asks nothing of anyone that you cannot also ask of us. If a check makes us look worse, it stays in.

Choosing an AI video company in Dubai in 2026 is harder than it looks, because generated footage can look impressive in a short reel and still fail on a real brief. The checks below are about what happens after the reel: who directs the work, how it holds together, and what you get in writing.

1. Ask who directs the work

Generated video is easy to start and hard to direct. Ask who makes the creative decisions on your project and whether that person stays from the first frame to the final master. A named director is a better sign than a team described only as "creatives".

At VSNRY Motion every project is directed by Stephan Weygand, our CEO and creative director. You can read how he works on the about page.

2. Ask to see the plan before anything is generated

The single most useful question is: will I see the shots before you make them? A serious company breaks the film into a written plan, often a shot sheet, with the blocking, lensing and light of each shot decided before a frame is generated. If the answer is "we generate options and you pick", expect more rounds of changes and less control.

We agree a shot sheet with the client before production, and what is on the sheet is what gets made. Our method shows the six stages in order.

3. Check that faces and products hold from shot to shot

Continuity is where generated film most often breaks. A face drifts, a jacket changes colour, a car gains a door. Ask how the company keeps a character or a product the same across a whole sequence, and ask to watch a finished film of a minute or more, not a montage of separate clips.

We use reference sheets to fix a character's face, wardrobe and proportions once and apply them to every shot. If an exact product matters to you, read will the product look exact before you brief anyone, us included.

4. Decide formats and languages at the start

A campaign in Dubai usually runs wide on a screen, upright on a phone and square in a feed, often in more than one language. Ask whether each format is composed for its own frame or cropped from the wide one, and which languages the company can deliver with lip sync.

We master one concept in 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1, each composed for its frame, in English and German. Be wary of any company that agrees to every format and every language before it has read your brief. A company that tells you what it cannot do is easier to plan with than one that agrees to everything.

5. Watch finished work, and check what it is

Look for full films with a clear brief behind them. Then ask a plain question about each one: was this made for a paying client, or made by the studio to show what it can do? Both are fair, but you should know which you are looking at.

Every film on our work page is a studio production made to show the pipeline, not client work. Our concept commercials are labelled the same way: made to show what we can do, not commissioned by the brands.

6. Ask when a real shoot is the better answer

An honest AI video company will sometimes tell you not to use AI. A real, named person on camera, a live event, a product that must be shown exactly as it is, or a recognisable real location can all point to a camera and a crew. If a company never says this, it is selling a tool rather than solving your brief.

We say so at the brief when a shoot is the right answer, and our AI video production in Dubai page lists the cases.

7. Get price, timing and rights in writing

Ask how the price is worked out before you ask for a number. Length, languages, formats and whether anything has to be filmed for real usually decide it. Then ask for the price, the schedule and the list of deliverables in writing before work starts, along with who owns the finished film.

We price every project from the brief and confirm it in writing before anything starts. How pricing works explains it, and who owns an AI made film covers the rights questions worth raising with any company.

8. Ask how AI use is disclosed

Some platforms and some clients expect an advertisement made with AI to say so. Ask the company what it discloses, where, and whose decision that is. Our article on whether to disclose an ad made with AI sets out the questions.

A short checklist to take into the call

  • Who directs the project, by name?
  • Will I see a written shot plan before anything is generated?
  • How do faces and products stay the same from shot to shot?
  • Which formats and languages, and is each format composed for its frame?
  • Which of the films I am shown were made for clients?
  • When would you tell me to shoot for real instead?
  • Will the price, schedule, deliverables and ownership be in writing first?

Next steps

If you are comparing companies for a commercial, our page on AI commercial production in Dubai shows how we would make yours. When you are ready, send the project brief: Stephan reads it and replies within 24 hours, and nothing is committed or quoted at that stage. To understand cost before you talk to anyone, read how pricing works.

Common questions

Who wrote this checklist?
VSNRY Motion, an AI film studio in DIFC, Dubai. We are one of the companies you might be comparing, so every check here applies to us too, and you should ask us the same questions you ask anyone else.
What should I send an AI video company before the first call?
What the film has to do: the audience, the message, where it runs, and in which formats and languages. The project brief form on our site asks for exactly that, and nothing is committed or quoted at that stage.
Should an AI video company give me a price straight away?
Not a firm one. A useful company prices from the brief and confirms the figure in writing before work starts. Our pricing page explains how a film is priced, and we do not publish a rate card.
When is a real shoot better than AI video?
When the brief needs a real, named person on camera, a live event that happened once, a physical product shown exactly as it is, approval that requires actual footage, or a real, recognisable location. A good company says so at the brief.
What is AI commercial production?
A commercial in which every shot is designed in writing and then generated, rather than filmed with a camera and crew. Our page on AI commercial production in Dubai sets out how we make one, shot by shot.

Working on something like this?

These notes describe how the studio runs its own productions. If you have a piece that needs the same discipline, send the brief over. Nothing is committed and nothing is quoted at that stage.
