Do You Need A Video Agency Or A Studio?

DubaiAI VideoWorking With Us

It depends on the brief. If you can say what the film must do, where it runs, which formats and which languages it needs, a directed studio pipeline is the practical choice. If you also need campaign planning, platform planning or media buying, name those services in the brief so they are priced and confirmed separately.

Why the label does not decide the work

Labels are shorthand, not rules. The decision should follow the brief: who you are speaking to, where the film runs, and which formats and languages it must meet. We do not let a label decide the supplier; the job is priced and shaped from that brief so the fit becomes clear.

We offer three ways to work: a hero film, a campaign system and a content engine. Each follows the same directed pipeline but changes the shape of the engagement. Pick the option nearest your brief; the first conversation settles scope, and pricing follows the brief rather than a pre given number.

If you need planning, buying or measurement, make them named deliverables in the brief so suppliers can price them. Start with the project brief or send a short message when you are ready, and set out what you need rather than picking by label alone.

What our studio process looks like

Our directed pipeline runs on every project, whether it is a single film or a campaign that ships in more than one language and format. The creative approach is agreed at treatment before any shot design. That is the cheapest point to change direction, and it keeps later production focused on the agreed story.

Every sequence is broken into directed shot sheets before a single frame is generated. Blocking, lensing and lighting are decided in writing, shot by shot. What appears on the shot sheets is what gets built; you see blocking and continuity before production begins. Read the stages on the method.

In production each shot is built from structured prompts using JSON driven prompt control. Characters are held steady with reference sheets, and dialogue is matched to picture with frame accurate lip sync. Tools change how a frame is made, not whether someone directs it, and versions are compared side by side.

When a studio fits your brief

A studio path suits briefs with a clear deliverable: a single film, a campaign built to ship in more than one format, or an ongoing content engine. We design a story and a visual world from the start for every place it runs. That planning is part of the engagement you describe at the brief.

We compose for each aspect ratio up front rather than crop a wide master into other shapes. Our case studies show upright films made upright from the start, and sequences are kept continuous by fixing light, wardrobe and proportion on the shot sheets so the cut reads as one place and one time.

There are briefs a generated route cannot replace. When you need a real named person on camera, when it is a live event, or when approvals require actual footage, a live shoot is the right answer. Say such constraints at the brief so any supplier can include them in written confirmation.

When an agency adds value

An agency is worth considering when the brief needs campaign strategy, platform planning or media buying beyond a finished film. Ask for those services as named deliverables in the brief and the contract. Put responsibilities, timelines and who owns the plan in writing so there are no gaps between strategy and execution.

If you want both strategy and production, name a lead and specify deliverables. Ask who signs off the creative direction, who handles buying, and what the delivery milestones are. Clear roles stop overlap and make decisions faster, especially for campaigns that must run in more than one format and language.

If you are unsure about the mix, use our project brief to set out whether you need planning as well as production. The first conversation settles scope and the studio prices from the brief, with a written confirmation after. If planning is required, ask suppliers to include it as a named line item in the written confirmation.

Costs, permits and the Dubai calculator gap

We do not publish a rate card. A project is priced from the brief and confirmed in writing before anything starts. Before you talk to anyone, the Every Market Calculator lets you compare published Dubai shoot ranges with the computing and dubbing cost only; neither column is the studio's price.

The calculator shows a worked example where public permit and shoot day figures are listed, and it explicitly notes that private location fees can reach high sums per day. Open the calculator to try your numbers. The computing figure there leaves out the studio's own work and fee.

For a Dubai buyer the missing rules are local contracting, VAT treatment and typical payment terms. We have not published a local contracting, VAT or supplier payment rule on the site. Ask any supplier to put permits, fees and a realistic timeline into the written confirmation before a price is given.

What to ask for in writing

Set the scope in writing: the audience, the message, the formats and the languages. The studio asks formats and languages at the brief because both change what the work is. Name who can approve the treatment and the masters, and have the deliverables and fees confirmed before production begins.

Be explicit about rights and music. Music has to be cleared for the use it is going into, and generated audio, library tracks and a client's own supplied music create different rights situations. Where a platform licence would affect how you use a finished piece, get that in the project agreement rather than assuming it from this site.

To move forward, fill the project brief or send a short message. The studio's creative director reads the brief and replies within 24 hours. Ask for the written confirmation that lists formats, languages, permissions, fees and who signs off the masters before anything is quoted or committed.

Common questions

How do I start a project?
Start with the project brief form or a short message. The first conversation covers the audience, the message, where it runs, and the formats and languages. Nothing is committed and nothing is quoted at that stage; the creative director reads the brief and replies within 24 hours.
Can I get an idea of cost without contacting you?
Partly. Use the Every Market Calculator to compare published Dubai shoot ranges with the computing and dubbing cost only. Neither column is the studio's price; a project is priced from the brief and confirmed in writing before anything starts.
Which languages can you deliver in?
We work in English and German, with frame accurate lip sync so a campaign can run in more than one language without being recast or filmed again. Other languages are possible but should be confirmed at the brief stage.
Who directs the work?
Every VSNRY project runs through the studio's creative director from first prompt to master delivery. You work with that director rather than a team of generalists and the director decides blocking, lensing and continuity in the shot sheets.
When is a real shoot still necessary?
A real shoot is the better answer when the brief needs a real named person on camera, when it is a live event, when a physical product must be shown exactly, when approvals require actual footage, or when a recognisable location must be the real place.

Working on something like this?

These notes describe how the studio runs its own productions. If you have a piece that needs the same discipline, send the brief over. Nothing is committed and nothing is quoted at that stage.
